Hi NASA,
I have never written a blog, or to NASA, so hopefully this is the right place to write this.  There have been articles written stating that $8 billion isn't enough money to build a rocket that would replace the retiring shuttle fleet.  I have no way of knowing why this is or is not enough money to do this.  However, perhaps this mandate should be looked at differently.  I don't believe this mandate has anything to do with budgets, or rockets, or jobs. Instead, what if NASA were to think of the money as a mandate to give another generation something to dream about.
